Defender II is one of the most popular defence game in the market. Being former version of Defender, it comes with many new features!
You are trying to defend your wall against various monster types. As you do in the previous version, you have a bow on the top of your wall and you can fire it by touching the screen. Keep monsters away from your wall and protect it from being ruined.
Closer Look of Defender II:
The game consists of many stages. At each stage, you must protect your wall against monster waves. As stages proceed, monsters will be getting stronger and you will face with new type of monsters. There will be new bosses as stage goes. But don’t be afraid 🙂 You can develop your defensive and offensive capabilities. There is also 3 types of spells to cast. Your spells’ power depends on fire, ice and lightning. You can drag and drop spell icon to cast a spell. They are very effective against monsters but limited with your mana capacity. So use them wisely.
As you proceed through stages, you will gain coins and crystals to develop your gears. You will also gain experience points to level up. You can upgrade your bow, your spells and your city wall with the coins/crystals you have. But you need to be at required level. There are 4 sections to view your skill tree and develop your abilities.
First section contains “Strength” and “Agility” skills. You can develop your bow’s base damage and firing rate with them. As you unlock more elements of the tree, your bow will also gain extra bonuses like decreasing monster’s attack speed and you can fire multiple arrows.
Second section contains “Mana Research”. You can develop your spells from this section. Upgrading them will increas spell’s power and effect range.
Third section contains “City Wall” developments. You can upgrade your “Magic Tower” which attacks monsters automatically. There is also “Lava Moat” which comes as a new feature to the Defender. This is the lava in front of your citywall that helps you to defend.
The last section contains Crossbow upgrades. It is vital to keep your crossbow strong to defend your wall effectively.
There is classical Local Mode (defeating monster waves) which we know from first version of the Defender game. As a new feature in Defender II, the game also offers Battle Mode now. You can compete against other players in the Battle Mode. In this mode, you will match with a opponent and try to stand against monster waves as long as you can. You can see your opponent’s progress at he right top side of the screen. The player, which resist longer, will be the winner of the battle.
